Good price, and good review on NewEgg, I am going to jump on this one, since it's going to close to the end of this year. Who knows what the ram price going to be next coming year...

Does anyone know can I return an opened-package memory kit, if it is not compatible with my MB on Fry.com?

    Sure you can return it.
I doubt you'll get anything back, though.

    #5,
The package mine came in didn't have any seal to be broken. How would they know that you opened it? Did you somehow manage to destroy or throw the package away?

Frys is usually good with returns, especially the RAM. Just call and ask.

I bought this memory, and it works as advertised. Currently at DDR2 800 @ 5-12, t1 timing, and 2.0 voltage. I don't know if it can hold those timings at lower than 2.0v, as I haven't bothered to try just yet (2.0v is the advertised voltage). I haven't had a single problem running my e6550 @ 1600mhz FSB with this RAM in sync mode.
