I love Newegg and buy a lot there, but, Amazon and CompUSA both have this media player for the same price AND include the USB WiFi adapter for free!

When is $30 more expensive the same price? You either get a $30 rebate or a USB wifi adapter.

From the Amazon page: "Patriot Box Office HD Media Player Exclusive Rebate and Free Wifi Adapter
Take advantage of 2 exclusive offers: Order the Patriot Box Office HD Media Player and save $30 by mail. Order the Patriot Box Office Wireless G USB Adapter on the same order and get the Wi-Fi adapter free. Add qualifying items to cart to save. "

The price shown is $129.99 before the rebate, same price as Newegg's.

Yes, Amazon has better deal. The matter is how good it is comparing to WD HD live. Any review would be appreciated.

For the money, there is no better value; $99 for the Patriot Box Office AND get the wi-fi dongle with FS. The only other contendor for me, was the WD TV Live -- it has a much nicer, commercial looking UI except that it does not support DVD menus. The PBO has a very simple, less impressive UI but it supports the following: DVD menus, 1080p playback, USB devices storeage devices, an internal HDD (WD does not), and PC streaming(wireless if you have the dongle).

Good discussion thread on the AVS Forums: http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.php?t=1188182
Note that today is the last day for the $30 rebate.
