No more space left on my SSD and because Steam will not allow install of games on other drives, and I do not wish to move my current games to a much slower HD, I will not be buying any more from them for some time.

Maybe you can map another drive to a logical folder on the SSD to trick the installer?
If all else fails, pay for the games to ease your conscience then get a crack to make it play fair.
Are you playing all those games right now? If not delete them and reinstall them later. There is actually a workaround to move your steam games, but I understand your reluctance to move them to a slower drive.
Someone once asked me why I opted to go with Intel SRT. This is one of the main reasons why. Caching my 500GB WD Black with 60GB SSD and it rocks.
#1 - Get Portal 2. It's an awesome game and a steal at $10.
#3 - I liked Portal, but it didn't blow me a way. I found it mildly entertaining and engaging. Portal 2 completely blew me away. I'm a big FPS fan. Despite the fact that you're really not shooting and blowing stuff up in this game, it is still extremely entertaining.
Hmmm Portal 2 for $10 seems like a great price
Grab Portal 2 if you have not played it. Completely worth that ridiculously low price
I didn't like the original Portal, why would I like the second one?

Here's a link to the steam mover utility that allows you to relocate your steam games:

What? No Duke Nukem comments.
tempting to pick up Portal 2... but i think I'm going to wait coz my gaming time is occupied by BF3 and WoT right now
Benkat - the Duke Nukem comments are expected to arrive very soon now...
Portal 2 showing up at $15, 2 days before this post's expiration date. Still, OK, but not as good of a deal.
