Pelican cases are amazingly tough but how many laptops are small enough to fit inside this one. Mostly netbooks I guess.

Even seems surprisingly light for the amount of protection it provides. But there doesn't seem to be a handle. I guess they expect you to put your laptop in this and put this in your bag rather than just carry around this by itself.

Does NOT fit my Thinkpad T61, nor my Dell E1505, but it certainly fits my EeePC.
Yes, there is a Pelican Hardback 1090 that is significantly larger. Fits any of my laptops. About $80.
There is provision for a shoulder strap, but I don't think it comes with one. The 149x cases have a handle.
unfortunately, Shipping to hawaii from buy.com makes this thing not worth while for us.
