Pelican cases rock! Get your office to buy this for you if you're a road warrior type.

Heh, exactly #3. Wouldn't want that atmospheric purge value getting damaged by the goons at airport security. Thieves on the other hand, will see this and vector out all other laptops knowing the case alone is worth stealing.

It's a bit disappointing though, for $117 shouldn't it be carbon fiber or at least bullet proof?

Commercial Photographer, Chase Jarvis shows off a really nice application for this laptop case in the field, here:

Chase Jarvis is a god. Anyone that isn't Chase Jarvis wishes they were.

You can buy a cheap Targus case to hold the Pelican from Buy.com. I prefer to carry mine around in a McDonald's bag -- why not, it's got my lunch in it.

Buy.com sells pelicans? I may have to change my opinion that they suck.

Bought this last time around. This case is beefy-big and nigh unbreakable, but will fit laptop only, no space left for the powerblock. Also the accessory sleeve insert that Jarvis uses costs extra, otherwise it's just got foam top.

There's 2 kinds of people in the world. People that are Chase Jarvis and people that wish they were Chase Jarvis.
