    If the quality control is anything like it is with the 1090, don't get one of these if you actually plan on getting it wet... I picked up a 1090 and there's a visible air gap on the side seam when it's closed. There's no way it would sustain a rain shower let alone submersion.

    The only Pelican case like this I've seen with a problem, was one that had it's lid closed on it's strap in the package, and was shipped and stored that way for months before he bought it, and it had warped. He got it swapped out by Amazon's CS.

    @ #2 cust svc seemed ok but since it was within 30 days they wanted me to try the seller first. Buy paid for shipping the return back. We'll see what I get back.

    I was just surprised they'd let something like that slide when there's a lifetime warranty on the product.
