I'm almost positive this has no movie mode
The Pentax website doesn't say anything about a movie mode so it does NOT have it. Hey, if it did they'd mention it for sure (and I'd buy one...). vendor link also doesn't mention it. Still probably a nice camera. I like my K100D well enough.
It has no movie mode. I don't know where Ben gets that. Only Pentax's newest flagship has a movie mode, and it isn't even available yet!
and why would a dslr need a movie mode?
