$689 with free shipping expensive... Fred, I think your Coke Bottle glasses are fogged up again. They're describing a camera body, not a lens... but in either case, it's an engineering first for such durability at this price. This camera could compete with mailmen on toughness...
@zzyzx - well no sh*t, how's your comprehension? We seem to agree it's "a camera body, not a lens". So if someone has to buy a compatible lens that is equally weatherproof and durable, then it must be expensive. I'm not that interested so don't bother researching.
This camera dominate over every other camera at $700, you're getting a fully magnesium weather proof body, if you don't need video, I would pick this over stuff like T4i, d5200, slt-a57....

I have a k-7 (also weather sealed) with the above lens and I love it. Outdoor photos on a rainy day - no worries. You have to pay way more than that for Canon or Nikon with similar features.
