OneCall.com has the refurbished Pentax K100D Digital SLR Body for $300 + $10 shipping = $310 shipped. This SLR features a CCD-shift image stabilization system, which allows you to take sharper photos at slower shutter speeds.

I've always been a fan of Pentax.. although I don't know anything about their digital cameras (my Pentax is a Super Program). Is this a good deal? Can I use my old K-A lenses??

yes you can use all of your k mount lenses. You can even use the m42 screwmount, with a few tricks, but I've never worked with that type myself.

    Nice - I have a K-A f1.4 50mm that I really miss. Haven't used it in ages - since I switched to digital Canon point-and-shoot.

I can personally vouch for this refurb camera. It was dinged up and only slightly trashed by a careful owner who just didn't seem to like it. So I sanded down the body and spray painted it. I don't think too much paint got inside the camera. A couple of pieces fell out while I was doing all this and I put most of them in a plastic bag which is included in the sale. Anyway, it didn't seem to matter as it doesn't even have a lens. Could be an interesting talking point if you place it in a strategic place on your coffee table in the family room.

The Canon Rebel XTi was selling for $300 at Adorama. This is a much better camera I think.

Pentax are some of the most complex DSLRs to use, but very configurable. Also sealed to the elements better then most any others. Like the Sonys the body has the image stabilization instead of the lens.

I like Canon more (I have the XSi) but Pentax DSLRs are pretty good (hey, people defended an earlier deal on an Olympus DSLR, and Pentax is better than Olympus). Refurbished cameras are often a good option but it depends on who's doing the refurbishing.
