You can get a K-x for about this much. It's newer and has much better IQ and resolution. This isn't that great of a deal IMO.

or get the canon rebel xs kit for 400.00-450.00 i payed 450.00 for mine 4 months ago just wish it had a 3" display they also had a firmware upgrade for it to canon. -m
I haven't used a Pentax since my 35mm days, but really enjoyed it then.
