      Oh. Its a refurb. Never mind. Nice omission there, Benny.

      The more I think about it, the more Im starting to not care its refurbed.. Thats a pretty damn good price.

      How does this compare with a similarly priced Canon or Nikon? It's difficult deciding between competing brands that seem so comparable.

      Meanie, you can get a good feel for this camera by checking the Pentax DSLR forum on DPReview.Com -- http://forums.dpreview.com/forums/forum.asp?forum=1036

      It's a great body, with exceptional lens compatibility, and bonuses like weather sealing -- a very good value especially at this price.

      The one thing it doesn't do well is lower light action shots... so if you want to take photos of your kids running around the house without a flash, you'll want a different body... and probably a much more expensive one (or a point-and-shoot, which will take decent pictures but not have anywhere the flexibility or quality of image overall).
