This set looks good on paper but research the reviews. Not too good. I used to like Uniden but had a few handsets go bad so now I like Panasonic. The consus seems to favor Panny phones over all others.

I like the bright blue display...looks sharp!

I own a 2-handset, no answering machine, version of this phone.

Pros:
1. Good voice and speakerphone quality.
2. You can assign phonebook entries to different groups and give those groups unique ringtones.
3. Sometimes has ok battery life, sometimes doesn't (see Cons).

Cons:
1. Phonebook transfer is poor. You have to transfer the entire phonebook between handsets, resulting in duplicate entries unless you clear the target handset before transfer.
2. Battery life is ok on standby and when talking, but plummets if you miss a call and the "missed call" LED starts flashing. It will drain the battery in a few hours, and the charging base can't even keep up.

Yes they do have bright blue displays... but the contrast is so low its virtually impossible to read, and out doors you can't see anything. The new color displays work much better. I sold mine on Ebay at a loss.
