Someone please explain to me how WXGA is 1024 x 768. Last time I checked, the W stood for widescreen.

#4, this is WXGA and definately widescreen. Although it is 1024 X 768, I believe it has rectangular pixels instead of the normal square ones. I have seen other TVS like this..bacon is fine for TV, but as a monitor text tends to get distored with rectangular pixels...

#2, even in 32" 1080p is started to be significant. and you will more appreciate extra resolution when u use the tv as desktop monitor.
I don't think most people will be sitting 5 ft from their living room TV, as that would be the optimum distance from this TV if it were 1080p.
some retard always asks the same question on every plasma TV deal...how can it be widescreen, its not true HDTV, etc. etc.
