decent deal, 1080p is pretty much over rated unless all you do is blue ray. most tv and cable comes in 720p.
Not really. Sports is usually 720p. A lot of tv comes in at 1080i too. In my humble opinion if you are getting a smaller cheaper tv get 720p, if you're going to go big and spend a lot you should get 1080p.
Spend your money on a better brand...
Philips 50-inch plasma TV died suddenly. Audio is fine, but the display has large black blobs on both sides and garbage in the middle, regardless of the input selected.
