Make up your mind, Ben. Is it 60Hz or 120Hz?
it's 120V but only 60HZ.

I bought this from Dell.com when it was $700 a few months ago. After I pulled the trigger, I got buyer's remorse and tried to cancel the shipment and send it back. Dell refused, and ultimately, it's worked out for the best.
Is it high-end gear? No. The 120Hz is intentionally deceptive, as it's only really 60Hz and it's special video processing mode is supposedly 120Hz quality. It's not, so if that's the selling point for you, don't buy.
That said, it's been great with a DVI->HDMI adapter to hook up my computer and use Hulu and other video directly. If you turn off a lot of the special features, video is smooth and crisp. I recommend strongly if you're hooking it up to a PC, and mildly recommend it if you're using it for your primary home theater HDTV.
So Ben posts this in the middle of the afternoon and still gets it messed up - Deal: Philips 42PFL5704D/F7 42" 120Hz 2ms LCD HDTV $630 at Newegg - NOT
The set is the 42PFL3704D/F7 model / the least expensive one they offer.
DELL had the 42PFL5704D/F7 on sale a few months back and that model is 120Hz (contrary to what #3 tried to say) - we got that one and to date it has been plain fantastic. HDMI connections with the HD Dish box = great sports in high def. and it is cooler than the 42" plasma that it replaced.
Pass on the 3000 series / the 5000 series is a good deal for under $750 / the 6000 series just adds a few extras that we don't need.
Done the deed. The price is great - No tax, free shipping. I was gong to get an LG model at Fry's for $650 with basically the same specs (1080p 60Hz) plus tax in Texas is another $45.
That's all I need as a studio/play room TV. This one has a USB stick which is a nice added feature t view pics. I'm not sure you can a new 42" 1080p LCD for less that this. Wow.
@4 - I was reviewing the 5704 which both you and I got. I didn't realize the product was actually the 3704 which I'd never touch.
Still not buying that my 5704 is 120 Hz, but I'm still satisfied with that over all.
