Amazon has the Samsung LN40A550 40-Inch 1080p LCD HDTV for $884.98 free shipping, no tax and $200 off a Samsung BD player model 1500 or 1600. Which means the BD1500 costs $12, free shipping, no tax. No interest for 6 months if you use an Amazon card.

I just got the 40" and a BD player for $897.47 couldn't resist the deal

      Sorry,

I don't know why the link isn't working, I can still navigate to it. You might need to check out the forums to get the link. I got an email from Amazon about the offer and followed the link but have since deleted the email. This happened to me before with an Amazon by email deal and I got a working link via the forums.

"Save $200 When You Buy a Qualifying Samsung Blu-ray Player with Select Samsung HDTVs
From now until April 24, 2009, add the Samsung BD-P1500 or BD-P1600 along with one of the Samsung HDTVs below to your Shopping Cart and save $200 off the price at checkout. Applies only to purchases made from Amazon.com. Does not apply to purchases made from other merchants on the Amazon.com website. While quantities last. Shop the Televisions & Video Store."

I don't know why $600 TVs are now being priced at $1000. Has teh economy recovered?

#4, prices dropped to $600 because the new models were about to come out. These are the new models.
