warranty is 90-days, philips lcd's have high rate of returns, pickup the 5-year extended for $200, you'll need it. avs forum says this tv suffers from vertical banding, prob why its get returned so much. firmware update should fix it.

but this is pre-broken so I shouldn't have to worry about it breaking again.

Terrible, not even remotely a deal.
For a couple of hundred more you can get a new, better brand, full warranty 52" some even 120Hz.

      Look down the page #4

"Dell Home has the Sharp Aquos 46inch LC46D85U 1080p 120Hz LCD HDTV with combo Sharp AQUOS 1080p HD Blu-Ray Disc Player BD-HP21U for $1349 with free shipping."

Or say on Amazon the LG 52LG50 52-Inch 1080p LCD HDTV, $1,615 on Amazon, no tax, free shipping. Like I said for a couple of hundred more, ok so $400 more. Or also from Amazon Samsung LN52A530 52-Inch 1080p LCD HDTV $1,657, no tax, free shipping and $200 gift cert from the NFL Shop. Thats a better deal methinks.

This isn't even remotely a deal. You could have gotten a 46" Panasonic 1080p plasma from best buy with 36 month no interest financing for $999, and possibly $899 depending if u got them to accept a 10% coupon. The 46" 1080p Panasonic plasma blows this burp piece of baconnaise out of the water, AND FOR LESS MONEY! Nice job at shitty deal finding for rodeo cowboy doggs to get rodeo cowboy deals Ben. You burp noob. I find my TV deals elsewhere. The only time Ben comes up on a good TV deal is when he lifts the deal from another deal website who generally have the deals posted 5 hours before him, so by the time Ben steals that deal and posts it on his site they are going to be sold out. Bensbargains is for noobs.

Back in March you could get this for $1480 new from Phillip's Outlet, inc shipping, but I just googled it, and it's now available refurb only. Wow!

Oh and the Phillip's Outlet, closed!

      http://www.outlet.philips.com/

Also like many Phillip's I suspect the bezel is 2 tone, that stripe thing isn't a reflection. I wonder why they are pulling out of the US TV market? With such an innovative design team and such great reliability.

Correction, you can still get it new, but man there are a lot of refurb links on this.
