warranty is 90-days, philips lcd's have high rate of returns, pickup the 5-year extended for $200, you'll need it. avs forum says this tv suffers from vertical banding, prob why its get returned so much. firmware update should fix it.

This isn't even remotely a deal. You could have gotten a 46" Panasonic 1080p plasma from best buy with 36 month no interest financing for $999, and possibly $899 depending if u got them to accept a 10% coupon.
