$59 at circuit city philips has a problem with reliability
i would go with a toshiba hd not much more with 7 free movies
Stupid question: do DVD-Divx players also play Divx-HD files? Or would I need something extra/different?
Just wait a few weeks and get the same unit at the refurb store
Its cheaper at CC. THis is not a deal.!
Yes, it's NOT a deal. Amazon has it at $59.99 with FS and no tax.
i'd rather spend the extra $10 and get this thing at BestBye
#2 - Yes these Dvix DVD player will play most of your computer Dvix files (I've had problems with some that had an MP3 audio track, but that was my bad in ripping). You would have to burn the file into a DVD-R/DVD-RW disk, OR get a player that has a USB port. The Phillips players with a USB port will reconize most external hard drives formatted for FAT16/32.
#2 - Sorry I didn't read your question carefully, I havn't a clue about Dvix-HD file compatibility with these players.
Excellent DVD player. I'm using it to watch pirated episodes of House right now!
great, i just got one from bestbuy.. $59.99 with 10% off, with tax, came out to $58.. and i got a gift card for $60.. so it is a good deal..
For optimum 1080p upconversion picture quality, buy an Oppo 981HD if you're using a 1080p set that's 42" or larger... your set and eyes will thank you. If you have no idea what 1080p means, forget I said anything as you'll probably not notice a difference.
#11, did you really just suggest that people buy a $230 player instead of a $60 player?
Can this player handle an external hd with multiple partitions? For example, one partition was made FAT32 and the rest are left NTFS.
#2 - they will not play Divx-HD
#13, yes, it will see just the FAT32 partitions.
