I highly recommend getting the USB option, I use it much more often than actual discs.
How was the quality and could you resume the movie from USB?Thanks.
Quality is as good as the file quality and resume option is play -> pause -> play -> fastforward/reverse -> play functional.
I have a question for other Philips USB DVD player users:
Does anyone get really poor performance on the darker ends? Blacks and dark blues tend to not blend very well (on DVDs) and seems almost pixelated. Is this the DVD player or my tv?
yeah, my vote is with #1.. USB-direct is important.. small investment, big convenience for the next few years that you own this player
