Skip the gimmicks and kick down for a Braun foil shaver. Unless you have a really light beard, don't waste money on these waana-be's. A foil shaver gives best results.
I find some rotary shaves work better on heavier beards as you can just move it in a circular motion to get the hair in while using a foil shaver you may have to keep going over the area again and again. In other words I can pretty much shave with a rotary without using a mirror but not so with straight foil design.
Then again I don't shave every single day. None of them work well if you skip too many days unless your beard grows very slow.
