Amazon has the Philips Norelco 6945/41 Electric Razor for $28 - $5 off coupon (click "clip this coupon") = $23 with free shipping. Usually $30 or more, with lots of pretty good reviews. Note: according to Amazon, you may receive a box with either 6945XL or 6945/41 labelled on it, but both model numbers are for the same item.
I ordered one of these from Walmart at this price - and returned it the next day after I received it.
If you are new to electric shaving or have never owned a decent shaver, you'll most likely be happy with it. I get a feeling that is where all the glowing reviews at the Walmart web site are coming from. Great shaver if you've never owned a shaver! Justin Beiber would probably like it...
But if you've ever owned anything decent - just pass on this thing. The motor is much slower than most Norelco shavers, with the lowest grade heads and cheap assembly. Definitely built to a rock bottom price point. I had to go over the same spots over and over to get a decent shave. The only plus outside of the dirt cheap price is that you can use it plugged in as it's not a waterproof model.
Note that there is no trimmer on this model.
A suggestion - there are a couple of Remington rotary shavers at the $30 price point that smoke this thing. Very close shave, runs faster, better floating head design, water clean and has a trimmer. One is the R4-5150 (30 on-line) and the lesser version without the charge level indicator is $30 in stores with a $5 rebate. Main issue with them is that you can't shave with them while plugged in (I assume a safety issue - they are washable).
Takes forever to recharge, but can be used corded if necessary. Good price for a basic shaver.

Why are some of these shavers less than $50 and others are way over $100?
Is this the model that Santa Claus rides in the commercial?
