Buy.com has the Philips SHN2500 Noise Cancelling Earphones for $17 + $0 shipping = $17 shipped. Yes these are "active" noise cancellation headphones, not simply earplugs that block outside noise (although it appears they do that as well). [BizRate]

Anything will fit iPhone with one of those adapters you get on ebay for like $2, which is pretty much an extension cord with a small jack on one end.

Or anything that has a straight (non-L) adapter, can have the rubber pulled back to fit the iPhone (I did it on Sennheiser MX450's, razer m100, and razer m250). The rubber can also be slid back on afterwards if you so wish.

I wonder if they sell those adapters but with a mic, they probably do. That would save me from having to talk into the iPhone when im listening on headphones, not that I really mind that much anyway.

I've heard these aren't good. I just purchased some Creative EP-630 canalphones, and they rock. They have the same drivers (come out of the same factory) as the Sennheiser cx300. Newegg sells them for $21. I've heard things in the music I've never heard before. They do a decent job of blocking out sound. Only bad thing is low bit rate MP3s sound like crap.

I own them, actually they are not bad at all.
I have a high-end set, and admittedly these are nearly as good, but for 20 bux at wally-world, hey, they are nice.

I had to return my first set, I was very careful with them but they still developed a short near the ear piece. Swapped them out and haven't have any trouble.

They sound ok but the "noise cancellation" is more like a booster and hangs a foot from the earpieces. Mine came with different size earbuds but only 1 larger and 1 smaller.
