how do these work to block out the sounds of small children? They seem to be in every store.
The best noise canceling device for children is call Trojan, very effective, unfortunately, not mandatory in the states so you are baconnaise outa luck.
The only thing that these cancel out is the $20 that you once had. Only buy this if you do not know what you are doing, you do know care about sound quality, or if you are rich and can burn money.
i dunno, trojans don't make it any quieter for me. they just make things sticky and uncomfortable.
Some of John Candy's finest work
worst "noise-cancelling" headphones ever experienced. basically when you flip the switch to turn on the NC, it turns up the music. noobs: "WOW I HEAR THE MUSIC WAAY BETTER!!!" gadget whores: "umm the music just got lounder but i still hear everything..." not worth $1
Forget the noise canceling gimmick and concentrate on audio quality vs. cost. Can you actually find a better pair of cushioned headphones for $13? This is a pretty good deal for someone who doesn't want to have an earbud stuck in their ear canal.
this is pretty good from what it sounds like and if the things are actually what it says it's good. but the fact that it is noise canceling is irrelevent, it's all about audio quality
