Sams has the top of the line Oral-B Triumph 2 pk for $100 all the time. There's 2 rebates too. A much better toothbrush if you do any research. Need someone to share with since only one charger in this kit though. The head seems big at first but you get used to it.

@#2 Crash And Burn: Are you a dentist or a dental researcher? Oral-B Triumph mechanism of cleaning are rotary versus the Sonicare are ultra-sonic. Ultra-sonic get deeper into the pockets to remover unwanted plaque. Sonicare toothbrush is a better brush versus the Oral-B Triumph. My family are dentists so they recommend Sonicare over Oral-B Triumph every time. Get the Sonicare.

#3 dentist no. I research my purchases and rely on any unbiased research I can find. The Oral-B Triumph is not technically ultrasonic but still vibrates in addition to rotates giving an ultrasonic effect. The low end Oral-B's just rotate so you would be correct there. The rotating head changes the bristle angles giving better coverage. Top rated in the independent unbiased head to head trials I saw. At worst the Oral-B is rated the same as the top Sonicare and since Sonicare is a Philips product and they are a crappy company I ding them more points for that. Read many reviews that said the Sonicare crapped out after a short period of time. Typical Philips. I replaced a ultrasonic tooth brush (not a Sonicare) with the Oral-B Triumph and personally feel it confirmed the trials I saw. Don't know why your dentist family decided the Sonicare is better but if you have some unbiased info you can point to do so. Just trying to pass along some helpful information to save others some time but no good dead goes unpunished these days.
