I put it on my Chevy Volt -- it's a blast!
Seriously, though, on that car the shifter sort of hides in a compartment under the dash, so when the car is in PARK the visible part of the pistol grip really looks like a handgun. One day a cop was standing by the car when I walked up to it - he insisted that I unlock the car and stand back while he looked.
So... it's realistic. I moved it to another car, where the business end of the gun, if it were one, would be visible.
By the way, the trigger moves, but in the case of my unit does nothing. The entire unit is pushed down to get between positions. Also, the angle is determined by the shaft it sits on, which is not very convenient.
In NY, only a seven round clip is allowed. Oh, wait, is this a revolver?
Good luck explaining that pistol grip shifter if a cop stops you in Chicago or NYC.
