I bought this for an older car, and like it. However, it is HUGE, and requires a lot of installation including a mechanical mounting because the window suction device is highly stressed by the unit's weight, AND it covers a lot of window - illegal in my state.

However, it works just as advertised and provides a comprehensive set of features. Bluetooth is super, navigation is fine.

If window suction cup is not strong enough to hold the weight, it is better to invest into a friction bean bag to hold the GPS on the dashboard.

why do you sound oh so surprised when you say its huge. when it clearly states 5.8 inchs. and i also have this unit too. i dont have a problem mounting it on the window it doesnt fall. maybe your window is dirty. and yes the cable pioneer gives you is complicated but you dont have to use it. you can just use the 5volt dc thing it gives you thats all you really need really. the GPS is decent at most part. but there are still some bugs. 3.0 firm wire is about to come out. the voice recognition system still can have some improvement for the cell phone part at least. way easier to see then 3.5 and alot less features then a gps only device. and the U turn is annoying. (comparing to navigon 2100)

Unless your car is in your garage, anything removable and visual in the car will cost you that thing plus the window and probably several car rental days.
