At 10% THD, I don't think it sounds any good.
10% THD would be amazingly bad - I would expect that it's 1.0% or better.
The current Pioneer model that seems to most match this one is the HTP-2800, which has a stated .70%THD.
Not that 1%THD is great or anything - but not out of line for a $180 multi channel system.
Oh - for the sake of comparison, the Pioneer Elite series receivers tend to be rated around .07% THD.
You guys are missing the big picture. 1000 watts of pure power. I don't care about THDs or STDs. 1000 watts will blow you away!
You, of all people, should care about STDs.
