The new VSX-1022-K was going for $319 a couple of days ago. The 822 does seem to offer the best mix of features and value in the new model line, but I'd look for this for a bit less.
And in case anybody's still paying attention, The Egg has the VSX-1022-K for $299.99 this weekend, which leads me to the hopeful expectation that the 822 will be showing up in the $250-270 range sometime soon.
