    BBC version is the best... Why you rodeo cowboy don't get it? No wonder this country has so much uneducated people and always ask "why?".

    When i got this the BBC version was 65 at costco. It wasnt worth twice the price for the BBC version.

    I TIVO these from Discovery Channel and watch them over and over. As I watch I think of the rodeo cowboy I know who say they don't watch TV because there isn't anything good on.

    It is not customary to mention the G word on Ben's BUT - I will buy these for my friend who sees God's hand in everything. She will then see the extent of amazing life forms on Planet Earth and their interplay.

    As for me, an engineer, when I watch Planet Earth I am envious that I can not create a design as elegant as the DNA, sperm and egg, neural network driven architecture of life forms which adapt to their environment and evolve.

    Just bought the 5-disc UK Attenborough Blu-Ray version off Amazon.uk. One for me and one for my pop for a total of 70.52 US.
