this would make a nice gift, blue ray + 1080P HDTV would be amazing to watch Planet Earth on.

I've seen cheaper, but still a good deal. Get the version narrated by David Attenborough. It makes it more worthwhile.

#44, Cheaper? Where? This is this cheapest I have see either the Blu-Ray or DVD versions without any rebates or additional purchase requirements.

I am in. I would prefer the BBC version, but as it was said earlier, not for double the price.

Seems like the price went up some and yes, I used the coupon. Would prefer the David Attenborough voice.

Probably one of the halmark HD series. I did, however, find they tended to get bogged down in some of the more detailed moments or very narrow focuses of place/thing/animals as opposed to taking big sweeping tours - but it was still great.

C'mon, you don't like Sigourney? You should love it on disk 3 in the 4th chapter when she says:
"And here are the majestic Ural mountains, where ....oh....oh dear God..bacons bursting through my chest...no...NO!...NO! aAARRRGGGHHHLLPPHHH"
