Walmart has the Planet Earth: The Complete BBC Series on Blu-Ray disc for $37 with free shipping. This release includes all the episodes (4 Discs) from the original production. Narrated by the brother of the Colonel Sanders look-alike in Jurassic Park.
One thing that sucks: apparently the DVD set (or at least some version of this) has lots of behind-the-scenes footage...this BluRay set includes NONE of that. It is only the complete episodes.
I'd get it if I don't already have the DVD version
Its got to be better than Weaver's version. Her voice is like fingernails on a blackboard.
yeah this is supposed to be the best version, #2
I'm gonna watch this while eating a KFC meal.
I have this set (blu-ray) and the narration is quite good, the video is beautiful. This is the best price I've seen.
That's David bloody Attenborough!

Very good...you can read.

Can anyone verify that BluRay is significantly better than standard DVD?
#8 has to be trolling...
This Attenborough version is light years better than the American narration by Weaver.
Attenborough has always been my favorite nature show guy. I loved his old PBS Nature series from the 80's when I was a kid.
