I have this. It is really solid. I can't imagine breaking it. I went from a Creative Fatality to this. The creative was coming apart, its a POS. The only downside (and maybe only for me) on this is that it is absolutely no ambient noise reduction. If I have these on and am playing a game (they sound good, mic works great and is solid as a rock), I can still hear people talking to me in the other room and can respond. Otherwise good headset for the $
