My kid has a Strider balance bike. Took her about 3 days to really get the hang of it. Now I have to run to keep up...she's barely three. I think of how I learned to ride a bike, it was terrifying and painful. If you want your kid to learn to ride a bike and actually have fun this is the way to go (but I'd get a better one, this looks like a POS).
