This deal requires Sony Playstation Visa Card signup, so read on if interested. Sony Style has the Playstation 3 console (80GB) for $400. They are offering a $100 statement credit with your first Sony Playstation Card purchase, plus up to an additional $200 credits for spending $3000 over the next six months. Apply for immediate approval and it drops your PS3 price to $300, and $100 after qualifying for the additional $200 credits. Card issued through Chase Bank NA, with full Visa Platinum benefits and no annual fee.

If you don't mind signing up for another card this is the best deal in town. I got all my credit within two months by using the card instead of cash for all my purchases. Plus, I got 0% APR so I have a year to pay it off.

Too bad it won't play PS2 games, or this would be perfect.

$3000 within 6 months, who the hell has that much cash. Hell if I have to run up a credit card bill of $500 a month for the next 6 months, might as well just but a PS3 for $400.

#3, spending $500/month is too much for a single one. It is not a big deal for a family. I got it for free after credit points $42. I bought it at dell.

Seems like a good deal, but thinking about it, spending $3000 on my normal credit card would get me $300 worth of credit card points that I could convert to cash anyway.

Possibly worth it for the initial $100 savings.

#7 what kind of credit card are you using that yields a 10% cash (value) back? Most run closer to 1 to 2%?

#3, it's not that unusual. $50 a week on food is already $200. Add phone bills, water bills, electricity bills, and gasoline to that and it's not too hard to get there.

Yea, if you think about it $3000 in 6 months isn't that hard. It's just kind of a sticker shock when people see the 3000.

There are some rumors that Sony will come out with a slim PS3 with maybe even a price drop soon, if you can wait it might be worth it.

I just bought a new TV after putting it off for a LONG time and I wish I'd remembered they were doing this. Razz I'm in the market. Now I have to wait for a price drop, I think.

What's up with the spam commercial #13? I thought this was a post, not an advertisement...

this deal works with any sonystyle purchase of $300 so you don't have to get a ps3. i have about $2000 in college summer tuition coming due so that would get me most of the way anyway. ended up getting the sony a300 dslr camera, which will be $300 after all the statement credits.

Soo...spend 3 grand and get a PS3 for $100. Sorry, but did I miss the deal? Why not cut the middleman out, and go file for bankruptcy today and skip the PS3 purchase?
