Yeah right, you lost me at the spending $3000 over the next six months.

Even if I had 3k to spend on electronics in the next 6 months I'd save way more and get way more than $200 worth off by NOT shopping at the Sony store.

$3000 spending for 6 months is not a problem but I wonder whether the spending is good for normal purchases using the credit card or it must be at the Sony store?

It's a Visa card, so you can use it anywhere that takes Visa.

I just did this deal no more than 2 hours ago. I signed up for the card a received immediate approval. They give you a temporary number to use. Before you check out, they give you the option to talk to a csr. I asked him if I got the PS3, would I receive the $100 instant credit (just wanted to make sure. And im not planning on spending $3k, so ill take the free hundo). He said it takes 8-12 weeks. SlikcDaels website has a forum about it, and people have gotten the credit anywhere from 2-4 weeks. Plus, you get a free controller, making it at least $154 savings.

Even if you dont want to spend tons of money, just signing up for it and purchasing ANY item from SonyStyle over $299, you will get a $100 credit. I paid $426 total, i will receive a $100 credit and got an extra wireless controller. Good deal if you ask me

you can spend the 3k anywhere which is easy with bills and if you have a child use it for tuition.

I want to see the $320 deal again.

What about payments to Paypal? Do those count towards your $3k?

That's a Visa card, which you can use for anything. So it is a good deal. If you are not spending $500/month (groceries, bills, etc) then you shouldn't be buying a console in the first place.

    lol @ dumb #1
This is a good deal. Sign up, do the coin deal where you buy $3000 in coins from the gov site (free shipping no tax). Return the coins at the bank to pay off the credit card bill == $100 ps3

last year I signed up for a card with $150 credit. After 3 months I called Sony because no $$$ posted to my account as promised. They sent me a letter saying there was no promotion associated with my account. I called again and a rep told me a different story that I had only $100 credit. Even the rep is white, an out sourced Indian could do a better job when talk to customers. I am still fighting to get my $150 credit. Evil or Very Mad

Be sure to get a screenshot of the offer on the web site or you end up like me having no hard proof.

I wonder why any of you are questioning spending 3000 over 6 months. 3000/6 = 500 per month. You don't have to revolve the balance you just have to spend the money, you can pay the balance off each month. So just put your monthly groceries and gas should be able to do it no problem. Now if you don't buy groceries because you use food stamps you probably shouldn't be considering buying one of these in the first place.

Cyborger, read my post. You get a $100 credit for signing up and buying a PS3. Than, if you choose to, you can get another $100 credit for spending $1500 and another $100 credit for the next $1500, totaling to $300 credit for buying $3400 worth of stuff. If you dont spend the $1500 x 2, you still get the single $100 credit if you buy a PS3. I have read the website, I did it myself, and I talked to a CSR. This is a great deal. Save 25% on a PS3, plus a free controller, making it a 34% savings WITHOUT having to spend $3000.

Holy crap, you guys really are getto dogs, if you don't spend $500 a month on food, movies, toilet paper, etc. Our family of four spends about $2,500 a month on our WorldPerks card for free flights, but this is a much better deal if you're looking for a PS3.

    HAVE A SUCKER!

    "whopping $3000"

this is a deal, but probably not for you if you can't pay off the balance in full.
