Soooo... it brings the price down to what it's actually worth, while Sony gets another sucker for a CC. Not bad if you considered buying this POS for $400. Expensive blu-ray player. Right #2?
huh?
Actually, that's a decent price for a blue ray player, especially one that is universally considered one of the best. I have a Xbox 360, but I don't consider it to be a personal betrayal if I purchase another system. I think they'll get along ok.
Its a great BR player.
purchased one. let's see if the credit goes towards this first purchase once the statement comes in. also claims to have 24 months interest free.
To further boost my earlier point, there's a story at Sound and Vision about the fact that the PS3 is Criterion's reference Blueray player. Now that's saying something.
Sony is selling the PS3 at a huge loss with the hopes of making a profit on the games sold. So if you hate Sony then buy the PS3 for use as a BR player and don't buy any PS3 games.
great price for a nice console and BR player too bad you have to get the card too.
If your Wheel Watcher spin ID is 'eat my ass', you also win the trip to Iraq and if you are a Sony credit card holder, you win an additional $50,000!
#9 ?
#10 isn't a Wheel of Fortune fan
Got one yesterday. I hear you're still missing out on a the CF reader and a few USB ports, a la the 40GB PS3, but who cares. The price is very good and the financing isn't bad.
#12 I care, monkeys doesn't.
Thats a great price. I just got my PS3 through Sony about 4 weeks ago for $334 tax included after i signed for the CC and got $100 credit.
Is anybody seeing the $150 credit? All I see is the offer for 2 years no interest. Ben acts like the credit is supposed to show up instantly if you buy the unit and get instant approval.
anyone know if you can use the 150$ to apply to something else from sony?
How long does Sony take to process an application?
#12, what would you want a usb port for? Would you use it to play downloaded videos/jpgs/mp3s off a thumb drive like the $40 philips dvd player? or is it to store games from the p3 on an external harddrive?
#16, last time when I used the $100 credit, I was able to buy anything at sonystyle.com store.
You will see the credit on your statement as long as you spend at least $299 on anything Sony.
FFS people are stupid.
