I got one last week for $300 from Dell, but its still a steal for $350 - hell its worth it for $400. I paid $500 for my first PS3, played it for 2 years without it breaking, and then sold it for $400 on eBay last week. Try doing that with a 360.

Wow, isn't that a bad business idea? Instead of fixing up your home you'll be playing video games all day.

Ps3 is hurtin'. XB360 is where the devs are going with cool games.

ha #9 that's probably "THE" funniest joke I've heard this week.
Please sir, enlighten us on those "cool" games that are coming out in 2009, hell tell me about those games that's coming out in 2010! The only games that may be cool is: Alan Wake, Bioshock 2, and maybe Dead Rising 2 (more like 2010). Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed Halo 2/3, Bioshock and L4D, but face it, the "devs" are making a better profit with their games on the PS3. Just ask EA and Ubisoft. Where do you think the other "devs" will spend their energy making games? Exactly, where the money is. How long do you think Microsoft can keep through 50 mil dollars around for exclusive download... don't even get me started on how much they paid SE to multiplat Final Fantasy XIII.

    Really, at Home Depot???

13 is very ignorant on this matte.r The attach rate for the 360 is MUCH greater than that of the PS3. Most all 3rd part games are developed for 360, then a PS3 version is. It's common knowledge that 3rd party developers are very unhappy with Sony keeping the PS3 price set at 4-500 dollars and some developers are already planning on NOT making PS3 versions of lesser selling games. It's just not profitable for them to put the time and effort into making a PS3 version when people aren't buying. Sony REALLY screwed up forcing Blu-Ray on their gaming customers.

My 360 is pretty reliable, about once/week I get E74. I use the toothpick trick to fix it for another week. I guess I should send it in and see how long the 3rd one lasts....should have bought a PS3..I'm in this Twilight Zone loop.

I also heard that more game studios are shifting resources away from PS3 projects to Wii. Surprise?

#14 obviously bought into a term that's been made up by the corporate system to boast their incompetencies in introducing first party exclusives that pushes the boundaries of their own products.
3rd parties games are for the Wii. The games that most often pushes the boundaries of each consoles are the first party games designed exclusively for 1 console (ie. Halo 2, Dead Rising, Bioshock for the 360, Uncharted, Ratchet & Clank, and Resistance for the PS3, to a lesser extent, Super Mario Galaxy for the Wii).
