I tried this once for my Roku and gave up after much frustration. Maybe it actually works now.
I've got it working well with my Logitech Revue (yes, Revue). The cool thing it did that floored me is it automatically found the metadata for nearly every movie in my digital video collection. I now have a beautiful list of movie posters (and summaries) and can search through them by actor, director, year, genre, etc.
The one unfortunate drawback is the Revue does not yet permit on-the-fly transcoding of content (which Plex otherwise does) so that I can view non-native files (g, HD video). But no worries -- TVersity does that!
this work well with any ios device, I had the server running on my acer revo 3700 and with my ios device running the plex app, I am able to watch all the movies any where, it also work with any smartTV device, ie samsung bluray player and TV with the plex app.
