Best Buy has the PNY Attache 16GB USB 2.0 Flash Drive (P-FD16GCOMH-GE) for $6 with free in-store pickup only. Features a capless-sliding collar design.
In a nut shell, instead of having one boot utility, live CD, or OS install on a flash drive, you have several of them on one USB flash drive with a menu to select which one to boot to. So far, the program works good, pretty slick...
i purchased this a couple of months back.
it is all plastic. so those of you that are rough with things...
its not the fastest, but it works.
Promotional, as they try to get you to go to store to pick it up hoping that you end up spending a few more bucks there.
@#2 so true!
when i was in ther the other day it was almost deserted.
Not at my store. it was crazy. then I saw STTNG season 2 on Blu-ray on sale, so their plan worked.
Also have the 32gb for $20 and 64gb for $28, free ship.
PNY = junk
I used to have a cap-less sliding collar design, but my Rabbi took care of that...
Apparently you can only buy one at this price. When I try to change the quantity in the cart, it doesn't change from 1.
"Attaché 16GB USB 2.0 Flash Drive has a quantity limit of 1 per order"
I bought a couple of the 32GB PNY of this same model (free shipping on that one) and so far it works pretty good for being just a little baconnaise.
The 64GB model is on sale for $27 with free shipping. PNY only offers a one year warranty on this line of flash drives.
