Adorama has the Pogoplug POGO-B01 Diskless System Network Storage for $15 with free shipping. Connects up to 4 external hard drives (or more with a USB hub) to network router for instant network and internet content sharing. Media can be streamed with a web browser, iPhone, Android, iPad, and other mobile devices.
This must be the lowest TCO Linux server you can find once you get arch linux on there. I'm pretty sure it took me less than 20 min. to get it on there. The performance is actually not that bad. I think the pink one has more RAM and might be preferable.
Have one that has been going strong for about 2 years. Don't understand why these get bad reviews but they work just as advertized. Picking up another one to play with.
Actually, it's the pink POGO-E02 (and gray POGO-E02G) that have 256 MB RAM and ARMv5te unlike the POGO-Bxx and -Pxx (black or pink) with 128 MB RAM and dual-core ARMv6l.
Cheap and easy way to get yourself some cloud storage and remote access, or else hack it w/ ArchLinux ( http://archlinuxarm.org/ ) and have at it.
Note, if you really hate the pink, they do have the black for $4 more:
