I picked this up last time it was sale. Streaming quality is pretty good, however it does not seem to support fast forwarding or any kind of advancing on MP4 or XVID formats.
Who is the host of the cloud? Pogoplug?
I read the description and it looks like it's a glorified media server running on the PC. Pretty pointless, at least in my setup, where this functionality is already covered.
Pogoplug offers you 2gb free in their cloud. If you install their server component you set up a private cloud on your own PC, also free. This application (actually a registration code) enables the streaming of video from you private cloud. I already have Remote Potato and was hoping this would be better. The file sharing aspect from the cloud is better, as well as sharing video to a few people without having to give them the master login account. I'm still playing with the competing product Plex to decide if it's better or not.
Another solution for private cloud is Polkast. Great for accessing your desktop files from my Android.
