Best Buy has the Pogoplug Series 4 Multimedia Sharing Device (POGO-V4-A3-01) for $50 with free pick-up only. Designed to bring cloud storage to smartphones and tablets without a monthly fee. Features two USB 3.0 ports, SATA HDD dock, Gigabit ethernet and a SD card slot.
I have one, it seems to work pretty well if you are plugged into USB 3.0 or SATA and have a good ISP, most of my movies play in the native pogoplug software on my iPad, except for .AVI files, but the AirAV app can play those. The music interface on the apps for iPad and android are not that intuitive. Overall, for $50 it is a good deal.
I am thinking about getting this one. Anyone has experience using it? How well does it work?
