GoldenGadgets.com has the Portable Hybrid Solar Charger for Blackberry, iPhone, Nokia, etc for $20 + $3 shipping = $23 shipped. Solar Panels have charge and maintain the built-in 2000 mah Lithium ion battery inside, providing USB spec power for your devices.
Faulty Product!! I mounted the unit on the roof of my car for maximum sun exposure and my phone blew off the cord running at highway speeds of 80mph. "Son of a Beach"
Seems like a common price for this. Google around for coupons that can get this down to about $18 shipped. I can't find many reviews tho. It looks compelling because it has an integrated LIon battery so it can likely pump enough juice to actually charge your stuff up to full. But when the battery goes, this too goes to the landfill. How long until it pays for itself do you suppose?
worries me that the unit is jet black is supposed to be in the sun for long periods of time yet it contains a lithium battery. lithium batteries' main enemy is heat so this should never have made it off of the drawing board with its flawed design.
An Al Gore special for today.
screw al gore i'll eat his kids.
Harness the power of the sun, my friend!!
Sunshine on my solar (charger)s makes me happy.
I just wear a bright yellow shirt

I had one of these. It worked for about 6 mos. and then just quit. I sent it back and then moved away from Alaska.
are you able to charge up other things with this?

I have read that these also do not work worth a flip.

Can we use this to convert our car to electric and stop paying for Hugo Chavez's meals?
