Powerful card to run games but litlle bit noisy. Not sure, it is really low profile, it may take 2 spots.

#1, you called this card "Powerful card to run games", you are funny! What kind of the games you were talking about?

#4: You're much better off getting a 9600GSO(768mb or 384mb, do not get a 512mb or 1gb card) or Radeon 38xx for around $40. Much higher gaming performance, same price.

If you do need a low-wattage gaming card, don't get this one. The faster Radeon 4670 is currently on sale for $30. link: http://bensbargains.net/deal/107743/

    #5, that 4670 is now $55 (AR) + Shipping.
Wish Newegg had that on sale sooner. Think even $40 (w/o PayPal discount) is a good deal.

This is just a decent upgrade from IGP in a slimline chassis with little or no air flow. Just a H/S only and no auxiliary fan will push the temp of 4650 up fairly high. You can either put up with a little fan noise or find a spot to mount an extra small 60mm fan to help move air. But, yes this is the most competent 3d performance card you'll come across that's half-height, descent price and enough low power to use in those slimline case, but it's not a "gaming card."

the 4670 is a great card that does not consume much power (no power connector)... it's a great card for the average gamer.

I agree that 4670 are the best in a balance of performance per watts, it's just too bad there aren't half-height in that series.
The only real differences between them is the 4650 uses DDR2 memory, and the enhanced clocks for core and memory, so that doubles the 4670 bandwidth.
