The history button isn't linking the 3 other times this particular card has come up. This is the only 5570 that's Ben's listed and it was $5 less back on 3/7. On average the 5570 are overpriced, it's surprising that other AIB's haven't offered deals. I'd imagine the degree at which such SKU's are collecting on retailer shelves, we'd see at least a moderate affect on deals by this point.
It almost appears like many AIB's committed to extremely limit volumes, almost as though they where gun shy of maybe seeing issues with TSMC quality, or that ATI had exceptionally high price on the chips themselves and many AIB's couldn't justify the investment for the margins they would make.
One thing I can say it looks like PowerColor stepped-up and made the deal with ATI to be their "value" AIB. Either Sapphire who appeared to have that distinction for some time now didn't want it, or ATI figured it was time for a change, either way PowerColor is the one bringing the value offerings more often.
