I wanted something fanless but couldn't pass this up for $15 after rebate. It is much faster than comparably priced HD4350 and HD3450 cards.

This card has S-Video output in case you are still stuck in the stone age like me, but you'll need a DVI-to-HDMI adapter if you want HDMI output. You can buy adapters from Amazon.com resellers for less than $5 shipped.

EDIT: It looks like the card is sold out now.

I believe regular cheap DVI to HDMI adapters will not give you audio over HDMI. That may be fine for you, but if you want audio you need a special ATI adapter.

This one has no speed control wire which means that the fan always spins at a steady 100%. May not be a big noise problem the first month or so but after that you're in for a pleasant surprise.

Well, the noise problem is only a problem if you care about noise. Razz

In other words, in my office, the sound of the fan on my video card won't be heard over the sound of the fan on my CPUs or power supplies (I have multiple systems in there).

And for $15 it's almost considerable, except for my hatred of ATI.

    It's showing stock...
$15 for the card and $20 for a nice heat pipe cooler and you're set.
