I bet this thing wastes quite a bit of energy when plugged in and not in use.

This is pretty burp dumb. I guess plugging your device into the charger it came with is just a crazy idea huh?

So instead of plugging my phone into it's charging cable, I can spend $70 to put a special charging plate onto my phone which will make it bulkier, and then set it on the Powermat - which I will have to plug in anyway. Brilliant!

It actually will charge up to 4 devices using 1 power plug.

The ipod dock or ipod touch case is $40.

70 bucks to charge 4 units, each requiring an adapter that costs money
