SuperMediaStore.com has the PQI 4GB 120x CompactFlash Memory Card on sale for $46 with free shipping. A nice speed to take advantage of higher transfer rate professional cameras. [BizRate]

At first I thought the image said "4MB", like a card I've seen in the office. However, some large memories can't be read by older systems, for example a 2 Gig SD couldn't be read in a USB data reader (kinda old version).

I bought 8GB CF card (A-Data) for my Canon XT digital camera. It works perfectly. No problem whatsoever for the last 6 months.

#1, my cheapass FAR USB reader/writer trash my PQI 2GB SD card during a write; don't trust it no more; card under warranty though so I'm back in bizness

This one works well in my Canon S1. There's an A-data 8GB card at meritline that also works well. Good for shooting video at highest Q. Anybody want a Hitachi 4GB microdrive CHEAP?

I'm in the market for a new CF card for my Canon XT. IS this the best bang for my buck?

Depends on how much bangin you wanna do. The A-data 8GB card at meritline is a bit more $/GB but not much if you want an 8GB card. This is probably the best $/GB for 4GB cards as I have never seen then below $50.
