So what do you do with a fryer? Do you reuse the oil over and over?
Isn't that really unhealthy?
It's a funk pot...
For at home use on my deep fryer I will typically use it 2-4 times per week. every other week I filter the oil with coffee filters. Works fine. Every month I change the oil. I find that it also depends on what I deep fry, things like beer battered anything leave more "funk" in the pot then say store bought frozen fries or frozen chicken.
Be forewarned when deep frying any moisture in your product will explode when dropped in the hot oil.
