Come on #1 admit it that you hope it's really tiny so you can use it on yourself.

Well, the reviews on amazon and at fw seem to say it's hit or miss. If you just want to try it out, it's not a bad way to go (though one of the reviews seems to indicate it's gone as low as $10.99)

the metal itself is probably worth more than $15 in the scrap yard...

Within 6 months this will be in a box in your garage and you'll be wondering why you thought it'd be a good idea to make your own spaghetti.

All the more reason to only spend $15 for the learning experience I suppose...

Check out the reviews on Amazon. I have a nicer one that I paid about $50 for and I like that. I wouldn't buy this one.

the pasta maker attachement for my kitchen aid was used once before I realized what a pain in the ass it was. I just buy pasta at the store now. Save your money and your sanity. You are not on the food network.

i have a kitchenaid standmixer, and never considered until a month ago, to buy their pasta maker attachments, i was researching these handcrank ones needlessly. the kitchenaid attachmates save you a lot of time, and they are contracted out to Italy. I was a bit surprised, i thought they'd be made in USA being that Kitchenaid likes to keep stuff made here.

Kitchenaid FTW. If you hand-crank one batch of pasta, you'll never do it again.
